This is a studio project to conceptualize an innovative design that is tailored specifically for the people of economically weaker section in Ahmedabad, India. The functional and spatial needs of this segment of society are seldom met through existing housing scenario. This project is aimed at addressing them, while keeping the costs affordable.

Every open space between the buildings is treated thoughtfully such that it serves purposes of social interaction, movement, accessibility and most importantly aesthetics.
There is ample of greens on the site which creates a comfortable and healthy environment within the premises, but is still low-maintenance keeping economy in mind.
Huge central court with lawns, sit-out spaces, multi-functional club-house and an amphitheater for cultural activities and social meetings.

Into the building clusters...
The over-looking common spaces in the clusters provide numerous chance encounters between the residents. Visual connection and architectural elements allow for several ways of social interactions with the neighbors.
Such is the need based on the behavior and lifestyle of these people, and therefore it is catered.
Organized, aesthetic yet functional and economical elevation for the building cluster.
The happiness, safety and satisfaction of people is the utmost priority in space making.
